LACP(Link Aggregation Control Protocol)

Link aggregation control protocol is the protocol used in the IEEE 802.3ad standard to aggregate multiple links into a single link. Bandwidths of the connections are aggregated and redundantly used. If a connection is broken or a problem occurs, the data flow continues over the non-problematic connection. LACPDU performs the connection establishment process by sending packets. LACPDU packets contain LACP system priority value, [[Mac Address|MAC address]], LACP interface priority value, interface number and operation number. It has two modes, active and passive.

·    Active mode: In this mode, an active connection is attempted.

·    Passive mode: In this mode, only incoming connection requests are answered.
